The Role
Morgan Hunt is excited to be partnering with a highly regarded Further Education College in Derbyshire. We are looking for an experienced Sports Lecturer to join a dynamic team and deliver high-quality teaching and learning in sports.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons in sports
* Design and implement curriculum and assessment activities aligned to the College's standards.
* Track and monitor learner progress; provide constructive feedback to support student success.
* Maintain and update accurate learner records, reporting on progression and achievement.
* Promote health, safety and safeguarding across practical and theoretical sessions.
* Inspire and motivate students, fostering an inclusive and high-performance learning environment.
Education, Skills and Experience
* Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Sport Science, Public Services or related)
* A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed)
* Right to Work & Enhanced Child DBS on the update service
* Knowledge of teaching styles recommended.
* Excellent interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations applicable to sport/physical delivery.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
