As a Treasury Performance Analyst, you’ll play a key role in managing our financial resources and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. Acting as a vital link between Treasury and other business units, you’ll provide financial expertise and insights that help shape our overall business objectives. From financial planning and analysis to risk management and working capital optimisation, your work will ensure we maintain best practice and deliver exceptional performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be part of our Treasury team, responsible for:
1. Budgeting & Forecasting – Leading the development and management of the Group’s net finance cost budget (around £m annually), ensuring accuracy and alignment with business strategy. You’ll analyse performance against budget, identify variances, and provide actionable insights to senior leaders.
2. Performance Analysis & Reporting – Delivering in-depth financial analysis and preparing monthly reports for the Group Treasurer and CFO, including market updates, funding plans, and compliance checks.
3. Credit Ratings & Covenant Compliance – Monitoring key metrics, conducting scenario testing, and engaging with rating agencies and banks to maintain strong financial standing.
4. Year-End & Interim Analysis – Supporting Investor Relations with results presentations and providing detailed analysis for CFO meetings with investors and analysts.
5. Treasury Accounting Support – Assisting with complex accounting and fair value analyses, ensuring accurate reporting and liaising with external auditors.
6. Regulatory Reporting – Preparing Annual Performance Report disclosures and staying up to date with regulatory requirements.
7. Working Capital Management – Driving improvements in working capital processes and influencing senior stakeholders to embed best practices.
8. Financial Management – Managing the Treasury cost centre budget, identifying risks and opportunities, and negotiating with external suppliers.
HOW WE WORK
You'll be based at our Severn Trent Centre in Coventry. With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us hours a week.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
9. Experienced Treasury and/or Accounting professional with strong financial reporting and analysis skills
10. Fully qualified Accountant or AMCT
11. Highly motivated, confident, and enthusiastic about Treasury and Finance
12. Strong analytical and project management skills
13. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
14. Ability to build effective relationships internally and externally
15. Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
