Project Manager Doncaster / Worksop – c.£45k - Monday to Friday 39hours Our client is a major player in the Civil Engineering and Construction industry and they are keen to strengthen their team with a Project Manager to manage and oversee multiple steel installation projects. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience in the steelwork sector and can confidently apply their skills, knowledge and experience to large scale projects The role As the Project Manager, you will be managing and overseeing the structural steelwork installation on several projects and will occasionally need to partake in weekend possession working, night working and, depending on the type of work the company are undertaking, you will at times be expected to work away from home. When not on site, the role is office based and duties include: Reading engineering drawings, structural steelwork drawings, connection details and specifications. Undertake site surveys and provide detailed information for fabrication and installation of a range of projects including, but not limited to Railway Stations (Access For all Schemes), Rail, Foot and Road Bridges, Lift Shafts, and motorway gantries as well as Sub-Contract Packages I.e. Glazing, Cladding etc. Confidently coordinate the Design; Production & Installation of Projects with full understanding of the project requirements/scope of works/specifications etc. Produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements Project Manager: Key skills and experience required: You must have solid experience in a similar role and be proficient in MS Office, including Excel. It is expected that individuals within this field will have already gained NEBOSH, SMSTS, SSSTS, or CSCS as well as PTS which is needed, but could be completed following the appointment. It is advantageous for this PM experience to be combined with plating/fabricating, Steel Erection, Supervising, Project Delivery, Estimating, Planning or Design. Full UK driving license. Drugs and Alcohol Medical will be required.
