The Role
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary to support Solicitors and Partners within a highly regarded Intellectual Property practice. The role involves providing comprehensive legal and PA support, handling a mix of routine and complex paralegal and secretarial tasks, and working with a high level of autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing day-to-day secretarial and paralegal support to Solicitors and Partners
* Preparing correspondence, legal documents and formal agreements
* Managing file administration, including document filing, scanning and photocopying
* Sending and managing emails on behalf of fee earners
* Completing conflict checks
* Preparing and calculating client invoices, including debit and credit notes
* Opening and closing case files on practice management systems
* Recording and maintaining key dates and deadlines in case management systems and diaries
* Processing expense requests
* Providing PA support, including diary management and arranging travel and flights
Candidate Profile
Experience
* Previous legal secretarial experience within a law firm (any practice area considered)
* Strong typing and keyboard skills
* Experience with digital dictation and audio typing
* Experience with client billing and working within a complex billing structure
