Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Technician to join our quality control team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inspecting and testing electrical, electronic, and electromechanical components and systems. This role involves generating inspection reports, understanding technical drawings, and ensuring that products meet stringent quality standards before delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct detailed inspection and quality testing of electrical, electronic, and electromechanical components and products.
* Perform visual, dimensional, functional, and performance testing using standard tools and equipment.
* Review and interpret P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and electrical wiring diagrams for verification and inspection processes.
* Prepare accurate and comprehensive inspection and test reports (ITRs) for all quality checks conducted.
* Identify non-conformities and escalate them with detailed root cause analysis.
* Ensure all incoming, in-process, and final product inspections are performed as per company and client quality requirements.
* Work closely with the engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
* Maintain calibration records and ensure proper functioning of inspection tools and equipment.
* Support audits (internal and external) by providing relevant documentation and inspection records.
* Continuously improve quality inspection procedures and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Essential Qualifications:
* Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronic Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in quality inspection and testing of electrical/electronic/electromechanical components.
* Proficiency in interpreting P&ID and electrical wiring diagrams.
* Knowledge of quality control procedures, standards, and documentation practices.
Key Skills Required:
* Strong understanding of electrical/electronic component testing methodologies
* Experience with inspection report generation and documentation
* Familiarity with P&ID, wiring drawings, and technical schematics
* Attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
* Good communication and documentation skills
* Working knowledge of quality tools and instruments (multimeters, oscilloscopes, callipers, etc.)
