European Operations Co-ordinator - Freight & Logistics Location: Selby, North Yorkshire £30K-£35K Pension Mon-Fri (08:00-17:30) Experienced in European road freight and ready for your next challenge? We're working with a well-established, growing logistics business looking to appoint a confident and commercially aware European Operations Co?ordinator to join their team in Selby. The Opportunity You'll play a key role in managing European road freight operations from start to finish, building strong client and supplier relationships while ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of shipments. This role offers a great mix of operations, customer interaction, and commercial responsibility. Key Responsibilities Managing European Road freight shipments from booking through to delivery Building and developing strong client relationships to maximise business potential Managing supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective and reliable service Preparing and delivering accurate freight quotations (import & export) Completing all operational admin including job files and booking confirmations Handling customs clearance documentation post-Brexit Monitoring shipments in transit and resolving any issues proactively Preparing invoices and closing out job files efficiently What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years' experience in European road freight forwarding Strong understanding of post-Brexit customs procedures Proven ability to build and maintain client and supplier relationships Confident negotiator with commercial awareness Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) Strong numerical ability and experience quoting freight rates Good IT skills (Microsoft Office) Highly organised with strong attention to detail Why Join?
