We are looking for a Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) in a Primary School.
The role is 5 days a week with part-time hours (8:30am-1:30pm), starting immedaitely until the end of the academic year.
The positon requires you to:
Provide extra support for the child with their classwork
Build a relationship in order to understand the childs likes and dislikes (this will be used to plan teaching methods that allow them to learn)
Feedback to the classroom teacher and parents on the progression of the child
Provide a safe working environment and be aware of potential risks
Have basic knowledge of the core subjects To apply for this position:
Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant Qualification or a minimum of 12 months SEN experience with ASD
DBS on the update service
