Scope & Purpose
As IT Systems Engineer, you will play a vital role in our growing IT Team.
Reporting into the IT Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of all software applications used by Celestra. Youll play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, installing, and overseeing the IT Infrastructure here at Celestra! You will be the driving force of cutting-edge IT infrastructure solutions supporting the growth and development of the wider business.
What youll be doing
6. Develop and implement new technologies, software, and services.
7. Research, recommend & consult on innovative technologies.
8. Installation and configuration of new systems and supporting infrastructure.
9. Perform monitoring and periodic evaluations of systems availability, integrity, performance, capacity & life cycle.
10. Carrying out the maintenance of systems & infrastructure
11. Provide 3rd Level user support whilst maintaining systems availability / up-time.
12. Maintain System documentation and create reports and outputs of the systems.
13. Support end users with issues / training needs.
14. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
15. Troubleshoot, and resolve any reported problems.
16. Provide application performance tuning.
17. Collaborate with application development teams and vendors to tune and troubleshoot applications.
18. Plan and coordinate testing changes, upgrades, and new services, ensuring systems will operate correctly in current and future environments.
19. Leads and participates in efforts to develop and implement processes for application and system monitoring.
20. Develop and maintain the reporting and dashboard infrastructure for the organization.
21. Fully responsible for problem management activities such as issue resolution and root cause analysis
Who are we looking for?
22. Expertise and experience in Zoho Applications
23. Understanding of Microsoft SQL
24. Experience with Helpdesk Systems / ERP / CRM
25. Strong experience on failover, high availability, disaster recovery, business continuance.
26. Hands on experience in process automation, best practice approach, technology efficiency, and effectiveness
27. Experience of time management and prioritising
28. Knowledge of Web Services and Services Oriented Architecture is desirable.
29. Familiarity with common data formats e.g. JSON, XML, CSV
30. Programming knowledge PHP, HTML, Java Script, CSS
31. Ability to effectively interface with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels.
32. Demonstrated soft skills required such as presentation of ideas and clearly articulate the concepts to senior management.
