The Company
* A community-based Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) serving the Shropshire population

* Works in partnership with local NHS services and integrated care systems
The Role
* Assess, diagnose, treat, and discharge patients with minor injuries and minor illnesses
* Take comprehensive histories and perform focused clinical examinations
* Formulate differential diagnoses and management plans
* Request and interpret diagnostics (X-ray, pathology, ECGs) within scope of practice
* Perform procedures including suturing, plastering, wound care, and foreign body removal
* Provide health promotion, self-care, and safety-netting advice
* Escalate and refer patients to ED, GPs, or specialty services as required
* Recognise and respond to clinical deterioration and emergencies
* Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
The Person
* NMC or HCPC registered healthcare professional
* Recognised ENP or ECP qualification
* Strong background in MIU, ED, urgent care, or emergency settings
* Confident in managing minor injuries and minor illnesses autonomously
* IRMER compliant for requesting/interpreting X-rays (where applicable)
* Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and decision-making skills
* Evidence of ongoing CPD and professional development
* Ability to manage workload independently and within a team
