Role Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage the personal tax compliance process for a portfolio of clients
* Provide expert advice on personal tax planning, inheritance tax, trusts, and capital gains tax
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as their go-to advisor
* Review and sign off on complex tax computations prepared by junior team members
* Identify tax planning opportunities and implement bespoke strategies for clients
* Support the development and training of team members, fostering their growth and expertise
* Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation, ensuring clients remain compliant and benefit from new opportunities
* Work collaboratively with the wider tax and accounts teams on cross-departmental projects

Candidate Requirements
Ideally, you will:
* Be CTA qualified or hold equivalent professional qualifications.
* Have substantial experience in personal tax, including compliance and advisory.
* Demonstrate a proven ability to manage and develop a client portfolio.
* Show strong technical expertise in inheritance tax, trusts, and capital gains tax.
* Have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and nurture client relationships.
* Exhibit leadership capabilities, including mentoring and managing junior team members.
* Be proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
