Job Role As the successful Assembly Technician, you will be working alongside a friendly team in the production department, responsible for the assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical control panels to ensure product quality and safety compliance. You will come from a background in electrical panel wiring and testing, and will be confident reading wiring diagrams, assembling panels, and conducting a range of quality assurance checks. Key Responsibilities: Wiring and Assembly:Interpret and follow wiring diagrams and layout drawings.Assemble electrical control panels, enclosures, and sub-assemblies according to design specifications.Perform point-to-point wiring, routing, and bundling of wires and cables inside control panels.Mount components, including RCBO’s, MCB’s and contactors, in enclosures using hand and power tools Testing and Quality Assurance:Conduct continuity, insulation resistance, and functional tests on assembled panels.Verify correct wiring connections, component functionality, and overall system performance.Troubleshoot and resolve wiring and component issues during testing.Document test results Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with other team members to address design changes or modifications.Provide feedback on potential improvements to wiring procedures, panel layout, or component selection.Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project status and any issues encountered. Skills & Experience:Good understanding of electrical panel wiring and testing in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Knowledge of electrical three phase and single-phase suppliesKnowledge of electrical components, wiring techniques, and testing equipment multimeters, insulation testers, etcAbility to use hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical tools.Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
