About the Role You’ll take full responsibility for a Year 4 class of 24 pupils, including a diverse mix of learners — many with EAL backgrounds (all fluent in English) and five pupils with SEND, one of whom receives 1:1 support. Your role will include: • Designing and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that bring learning to life. • Differentiating effectively to meet a range of learning styles and abilities. • Collaborating closely with teaching assistants, specialist staff, and colleagues across KS2. • Building a classroom culture rooted in kindness, resilience, and ambition. • Maintaining open, positive communication with parents and carers. The Ideal Candidate • Holds QTS with proven experience in Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience desirable). • Skilled at supporting EAL and SEND pupils using adaptive and inclusive strategies. • Creative, reflective, and confident in fostering independent learning. • Compassionate, organised, and committed to building positive relationships. • Not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
