Dysgu is a newly established national body, created to transform professional learning and leadership development for the education workforce across Wales.
With a mission to shape the future of education, Dysgu is building a new, coherent model of working – based on the voices of practitioners and designed to support teachers, teaching assistants, school leaders, school improvement advisers, and youth workers.
Dysgu is now looking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer to play a key role in shaping its future. This is an opportunity to help build a new organisation from the ground up, ensuring its operations are robust, responsive, and aligned with the highest standards of public service.
As COO, you will lead the day-to-day operations, develop and embed corporate systems, and work closely with the Board of Directors to ensure compliance with Welsh Government guidance for arm's length bodies.
You'll be highly organised, able to bring consistency to shifting priorities, and committed to Dysgu's core values: equity and inclusion in education, bilingualism, excellence in public service, and collaboration with the education workforce.
The ability to communicate fluently in Welsh is essential for this role.
