ATE Applications Engineer
Salary: £45,000 - £53,000 DOE
Location: Yateley, Hampshire
Hours: Full-Time | 8-Hour Standard Day Shift

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled engineer to join an innovative team at the forefront of electronics hardware and software testing solutions. Our client supports a global customer base and is seeking a proactive, technically astute individual who thrives in a hands-on, customer-facing role. This role offers significant exposure, including international travel to support installations, training, and system implementation.
ATE Applications Engineer Responsibilities:
· Provide on-site and remote support for ATE hardware and software systems.
· Collaborate with internal design teams to implement and validate custom test solutions.
· Develop and debug ATE test sequences, calibration sequences, and hardware interfaces.
· Troubleshoot technical issues to minimize system downtime and improve test efficiency.
· Deliver end-user training, technical documentation, and presentations.
· Support system installations, upgrades, and modifications globally.
· Engage with clients to gather feedback and improve product offerings.
· Ensure solutions comply with internal quality processes and industry standards.
ATE Applications Engineer Requirements:
· Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
· Strong background in electronics design, embedded systems, or test engineering.
· Familiarity with ATE platforms and associated software tools.
· Programming proficiency in C/C++, Python, LabVIEW, TestStand, or PowerStar.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Strong communication skills and customer engagement experience.
· Willingness to travel regularly, both within the UK and internationally.
