Our Balfour Beatty Highways business has a terrific opportunity for a Highways Inspector for our Highways DBFO. What you'll be doing As a Highways Inspector, you will be supporting the Operative Team managing all the costs related to the DBFO contract. Identification of maintenance works; Identify works and create works orders; Assist with maintaining the programme of and undertake network inspections, if applicable; Assist with maintaining the defect data base; Undertake Routine and Specialist surveys including lighting patrols as required; Assist with the production of road traffic orders (TTRO); Act as an out of hours Duty Officer for Winter Maintenance and Emergency Response; Assist with the coordination with National Highways and Local Authorities; Maintain Road space requirements and Network Occupancy requirements; Assist with the production of works estimates Who we're looking for You will have the following: Adaptable to changing situations Health and Safety first Customer facing Professional Conduct Willing to share knowledge Quality and accuracy of work Continually striving to improve performance IT literate Full manual driving licence Still interested? then come and become colleagues with 26,000 staff and join a business which recorded 8.6bn in revenues last year, achieved industry leading customer satisfaction scores and has unrivalled employee engagement statistics.
