Approved Electrician - Mobile - FM - Glasgow - £42,500 plus Overtime and Travel Time plus excellent benefits
This company, a player in the FM world, requires an Approved Electrician - Mobile to cover their prestigious client sites in the Glasgow area. Your reporting office will be in East Kilbride. Salary: £42,500 plus Overtime and Travel Time plus excellent benefits

Location: Glasgow - Occasional reporting to the office in East Kilbride
Hours of work: 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
1. Able to demonstrate a proven track record with post-apprenticeship experience of project installation work.
2. Possess practical, productive, and electrical engineering skills with adequate technical supervisory knowledge to work independently and carry out electrical installation work efficiently and economically.
3. Set out jobs from drawings and specifications and requisition necessary installation materials.
4. Install and modify electrical components and systems, including 1st fix containment, 2nd fix installations, power & lighting, including commissioning.
5. Carry out testing and inspection to enable certification completion.
6. Assist the Project Manager/Supervisor with information for estimates/quotations.
7. Conform to safety rules and apply good engineering and safety practices.
8. Install tray, ladder, conduits, etc., as per construction drawings.
9. Provide progress information as per Project Programme and follow RAMS.
10. Adhere to the Quality Management System applied to all M&E systems.
Candidate Requirements
* Must have at least two years' experience as an Electrician within the Facilities Management/Building Services Sector.
* Qualified to City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent NVQ & C&G 2382-10 18th Edition.
* Experience with commercial electrical installations and LV distribution systems.
* Experience with DC/UPS systems is advantageous but not essential.
* Experience with safe working practices and permit to work systems.
* First Aid, IPAF, and PASMA training preferred; certification advantageous.
* Preferably hold SMSTS, SSSTS, or IOSH certifications.
* Valid UK Driving Licence required; UK travel may be necessary.
Health, Safety, and Wellbeing: Must be willing to work at height and under CDM regulations.
