Role Description
This is a contract, on-site role located in Huddersfield for a Tax Manager. The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance, managing tax filings, and ensuring timely submissions according to regulations. Responsibilities will also include providing tax advisory services, optimizing tax strategies, conducting thorough tax reviews, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on tax-related matters. This role requires monitoring updates to tax legislation and implementing necessary changes within the organization.
Qualifications
* Strong expertise in tax compliance, tax filings, and relevant tax regulations
* Proven experience in tax advisory, tax planning, and optimizing tax strategies
* Proficiency in financial analysis, accounting principles, and budgeting
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
* Effective communication and collaboration skills with internal teams and external stakeholders
* Proficiency in tax software, spreadsheets, and financial tools
* Professional tax or accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent
* Prior experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is a plus
