A fast-growing, premium consumer brand is seeking an experienced Director of Quality to lead its end-to-end quality function across pre-production, post-production, and post-market activities.
This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and customer-facing quality operations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in safeguarding product integrity, consumer safety, and brand trust across global markets.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading global quality strategy and governance across QA, QC, and post-market quality
* Ensuring full compliance with UK, EU, US, and international cosmetic regulations
* Acting as final approval authority for product safety, regulatory documentation, claims, and artwork
* Overseeing supplier, manufacturer, and third-party laboratory qualification and audits
* Driving robust GMP-aligned quality systems, risk management, CAPA, and continuous improvement
* Partnering closely with Product, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Customer teams to support growth and innovation
The ideal candidate will have:
* Senior quality leadership experience within cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG
* Deep hands-on knowledge of global cosmetic regulations and quality systems
* Proven experience managing QA and QC teams in complex supply chains
* Strong commercial judgement, stakeholder influence, and a pragmatic leadership style
* A scientific or technical degree; advanced qualifications are advantageous
