This dynamic and varied role will provide the successful candidate with a unique position at the very heart of Barnardo's NI. You will be calm, an excellent communicator and possess top-level time management and organisational skills, ensuring confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Main responsibilities will include:
1. Acting as first point of contact for the Director of Children's Services
2. Scheduling appointments and organising diary entries
3. Setting reminders for meetings, appointments and other important tasks
4. Making travel and hotel arrangements
5. Planning conferences, workshops, seminars and other events
6. Taking notes at meetings, preparing and distributing minutes
7. Liaising with other members of staff and external parties
8. Preparing expense reports and maintaining a filing system
9. Undertaking projects for the Regional Director
10. Supporting and supervising a small team of administrators, including reception colleagues

11. Experience of working as a personal assistant/admin support to senior management
12. Demonstrable experience of handling confidential or sensitive information
13. Excellent IT skills to include Microsoft Office suite of programmes
14. Experience of managing and supervising colleagues
15. Highly organised and capable of maintaining efficient systems
Desirable Criteria
16. Demonstable experience of Project Management
17. Demonstrable experience of using a range of management information systems - Barnardo's use D365
