Social Media Content Specialist - 12 month FTC
Location: Wythall – 3 days office/2 days home
We’re working with a retail-based client with multiple branches across the UK. They are looking to add a Social Media Content Specialist to their digital team on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
Due to the location of the office, you’ll need your own transport and be willing to travel to branches occasionally.
The role involves developing their social media presence across Meta, YouTube, and TikTok to engage new customers and bring the brand to life through engaging and authentic content.
Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of the social media content plan, creating a structured and proactive strategy for the year.
* Work closely with the social media agency to brief in new content requirements for organic and paid campaigns.
* Create engaging and authentic social media content that highlights the brand and its people, including some product and promotional content.
* Develop a plan to utilise more video content, especially for YouTube, such as “how-to” videos and “a day in the life” features.
Experience Needed:
* Previous experience in a social media content role.
* Understanding of both organic and paid social media content.
* Experience developing YouTube as a social channel is advantageous.
* Proficiency with Canva and Adobe Photoshop is beneficial. Videography experience isn’t required, as you will collaborate with an in-house videographer and agency.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Experience within eCommerce or brick-and-mortar retail is preferred.
* Interest or experience in construction, interiors, trade retail, etc., would be highly beneficial.
