Responsibilities
* Report directly to Principal Investigator Professor Katherine Blundell.
* Verify and process data streams from worldwide stations of the Global Jet Watch.
* Conduct system‑wide monitoring and development of data pipelines.
* Actively participate in the spectroscopic and photometric research programmes.
* Provide guidance to graduate and undergraduate students.
Qualifications
* PhD in physics or a closely related field (or close to completion).
* Strong background in analysing time‑series data.
* Prior experience with spectroscopic and photometric data is an advantage.
The Global Jet Watch monitors the night sky with time‑lapse spectroscopy to capture the dynamic universe with seven robotic observatories around the world to transform our scientific understanding of how the Cosmos works and inspire the next generation of young minds.
