You will provide consistent, high-quality services in all areas allocated to you within the care home environment to ensure that the environment meets the requirements of the service specification and the expectations of clients and staff alike.
Key responsibilities include: carrying out tasks related to catering, cleaning, and laundry services; ensuring that clients' dignity and confidentiality are maintained at all times; working within all areas of the care home environment and Facilities Management Soft Services as instructed by the Assistant Facilities Housekeeper or other appropriate manager; and ensuring that all areas used by clients and care staff are maintained to the required standard on a consistent and timely basis.
It is essential that you have experience working within catering, cleaning, and laundry services, and possess a high awareness of current hygiene practices. You must have organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Qualifications such as an SVQ (or equivalent) in Catering, SVQ (or equivalent) in Cleaning, or an elementary food hygiene certificate are desirable.

Working Pattern:
This is a sessional housekeeper position working on a Sessional contract with variable hours over 52 weeks.
