We are a child-centred company focused on reimagining the world of support for vulnerable young people, delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring for pupils and students (KS1 – KS5 where appropriate).
Responsibilities
* CPD and employee mentoring: TES CPD suite and professional mentor access
* SEND Support Team: Support to keep a team around you and the child
* Community and Company Events: Knowledge sharing and resources
* Referral Programme: Get rewarded for successful tutor referrals
* A Role with Purpose: Join a child-centred company committed to reimagining the world of support for vulnerable young people for the better, supporting pupils and students referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring (KS1–KS5 as appropriate)
* Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
* We are on a mission to raise the standard of education provided to young people with SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), as well as other needs such as SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). We are increasingly supporting children and young people with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), and PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties). We want you as part of our mission!
* We are working with Schools and Local Authorities in your area and are looking for Core Subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of Young People with SEND and SEMH needs in your community
* Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
Qualifications & Requirements
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
* Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
* Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online jobs
* Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
