The Wellbeing and Support Officer will support, safeguard, enable, and champion the success of all students by providing front-line and responsive advice, guidance, and referral to other services within and beyond the Student Services Team.
This role's purpose is to ensure all students across the EFI Group, including the most vulnerable, make excellent progress both academically and with their social and emotional development. This post is part of the wellbeing team and the wider safeguarding team. The officer will be first aid trained, DDSL trained, and prepared for receiving and managing disclosures in line with the EFI Safeguarding Policy.
About you
* Experience: You will have a proven track record of operating in a similar role in a comparable environment and possess strong organisational and administrative skills.
* Expertise: You will have a comprehensive understanding of pastoral care issues, effective support measures, and be knowledgeable about safeguarding, wellbeing, equality, and diversity issues relevant to this role.
* Passion: You will be a personable, highly compassionate, skilled active listener with an interest in wellbeing and education. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of people are essential.

Salary:
From £23.90 to £25.00 per hour (Term Time Only 0.4 FTE, pro-rata of £26, to £29, per annum 1 FTE), subject to qualifications and experience.
