Salary: £33,555 per annum. Contract type: Permanent. Working pattern: Full-time. Closing date: Monday 4 May 2026 at 12:00 a.m.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the full referral, interview, and induction process for all bedspaces and ensure every resident understands their Occupancy Agreement and House Rules.
* Maintain the quality, safety, and presentation of the accommodation by coordinating estate inspections, health and safety risk assessments, repairs, and the timely turnaround of void rooms with Housing and Property Services.
* Support effective income collection across the service, building and maintaining a positive rent‑payment culture among residents with the Rents team.
* Line‑manage staff, provide coaching, guidance, and clear expectations; create a team culture rooted in creativity, consistency, and best practice; develop and maintain staff rotas; participate in the on‑call rota; embed Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs), Trauma‑Informed approaches, and restorative practices.
Qualifications
* Experience line‑managing staff and building positive, supportive team cultures.
* Well‑organised, approachable, and confident in setting clear expectations.
* Experience working in supported housing or similar services, supporting young people and/or adults at risk.
* Proven experience managing or supervising a team.
* Solid understanding of the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) and Ofsted frameworks; strong knowledge of Trauma‑Informed Care and PIE.
* Effective communicator with facilitation skills; experience overseeing safeguarding procedures within residential settings.
* Understanding of professional boundaries and modelling best practice.
Working Hours & Conditions
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am‑5pm, one late shift per week, one weekend shift per month, part of an out‑of‑hours on‑call rota.
About the Service
Supported accommodation for young people aged 16‑25 at risk of homelessness, operating 24/7. Based at Eastbourne Foyer with strong community links. The role involves travel across Eastbourne and Hailsham to other East Sussex sites.
