The role
If you are a highly organised and experienced administrator looking for your next career move, St Edward's Oxford has an exciting opportunity for you. We are looking for a temporary Personal Assistant to play a pivotal role in the smooth running of the school, providing crucial secretarial and administrative support to the Deputy Heads (Pastoral and Welfare).
You will support the day-to-day running of the Pastoral Office, by handling enquiries, drafting correspondence, minuting meetings and managing diaries on behalf of the Deputy Heads. Additionally, you will assist with the administration and renewal of Child Student Visas. This will involve preparing CAS statements in support of applications, conducting the UKVI required Right to Study on pupils studying on school sponsored visas, while also maintaining up to date records of passports and necessary documentation for all international pupils.
Responsibilities
* Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Deputy Heads (Pastoral and Welfare).
* Handle enquiries, draft correspondence, minute meetings and manage diaries.
* Assist with administration and renewal of Child Student Visas, including preparing CAS statements.
* Contribute to maintaining up-to-date records of passports and documentation for international pupils.
Requirements
* Experience in a senior secretarial or PA role with a high level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
* Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
* Strong IT skills and familiarity with MS Office.
* Ability to work in a temporary role with potential renewal by mutual agreement.
