At HC-One, we are looking for enthusiastic and committed Care Assistants to join our Flex Force team. If you're looking to earn extra money while gaining valuable experience in the care sector, Flex Force is the perfect solution. With contracted hours and guaranteed set pay each month, you'll enjoy the freedom to choose shifts that fit around your family life or other commitments. Shifts will be offered across our care homes in the Huddersfield, West Yorkshire area, providing a variety of opportunities and flexibility to shape your working week. Shifts are scheduled between Monday and Sunday and may include days, nights, and weekends. Flexibility is key to being a Flex Force Care Assistant, allowing you to adapt to the needs of our homes while maintaining control over your schedule. The homes include: Greenacres, HD9 4AG; The Oakes, HD8 8RP; & The Denby, HD3 4YA.
About The Role
As a Flexible Care Assistant at HC-One, you'll value kindness above all. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Whether providing long- or short-term care, including respite and palliative care, our focus is on delivering kind and high-quality care. This involves ensuring our residents retain their dignity and individuality, supporting them with activities, helping those with limited mobility, and providing emotional support, always prioritizing their well-being. Duties include supporting residents with personal care activities, assisting with mobility, and taking responsibility for their well-being on and off-site. A driving license and access to a vehicle are advantageous but not essential. All colleagues must attend safeguarding training and be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, reporting concerns appropriately.
