The Vacancy
We have a fantastic opportunity for an IT Business Analyst to join our IT team based in Leatherhead, on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of 2 days in the office.
Reporting into the Senior IT Project Manager, you will work across projects and/or programmes to identify business problems and opportunities; analysing, documenting, and validating requirements to then define and implement suitable IT and business solutions.
We are looking for a qualified IT Business Analyst with experience of undertaking a full end-to-end role on multiple or complex projects/programmes. You will have a strong understanding of business analysis techniques and delivering project methodologies such as Waterfall.
To be successful in this role, you will be a collaborative and effective communicator with the ability to interact with stakeholders of all levels, as well as the skills to breakdown complex problems and manage projects through to successful completion.
The IT Business Analyst key accountabilities will include:
1. Plan and manage the analysis tasks throughout a project using a range of best practice analysis tools to elicit, document, analyse and validate functional and non-functional requirements.
2. Manage requirements throughout the end-to-end lifecycle, ensuring traceability at all stages.
3. Work closely with internal IT teams and external 3rd party suppliers to design, test, and implement suitable solutions.
4. Support detailed test planning and execution activities, including defining test strategies, planning and executing test cases, and managing defect tracking.
5. Support cutover planning and ensure readiness for cutover.
