Analytical Chemist – Birmingham, West Midlands – £28,500 - £30,500
Responsibilities
* Provide prompt and accurate chemical analysis of precious metals.
* Perform complex analysis involving Fire Assay and instrumental methods such as XRF, ICP-OES, and Potentiometric Titration.
* Carry out precision weighing and use high-temperature furnaces.
Qualifications
* A degree qualification in a chemistry-related discipline (or equivalent).
* At least one year’s industry experience in a similar role (post qualification).
* Team spirit and ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
* Capability to carry out repetitive tasks requiring sustained concentration and dexterous skill.
* Strong work ethic and general administration skills with computer literacy.
* Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
