Overview
Protocol Education is recruiting teaching assistants from creative backgrounds to deliver one‑to‑one sessions for students with special needs, starting January 2026. This role supports learners in a creative, individualised manner, preparing them for adulthood and helping them develop their independence and confidence.
Role
* Located in Southwark, London
* Full time – Monday to Thursday with the option to work Fridays
* Long‑term opportunity with job security
* Supporting students in class (6‑8 per class) with a one‑to‑one approach
* Developing academic and social skills through art, music, and other creative activities
* Teaching numeracy with a focus on independence
* Supporting students in community work placements and outdoor activities at local farms and other organisations

Candidate
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Calm, consistent, and supportive approach with learners
