About The Role Are you passionate about creating safer communities and improving the lives of residents?Were looking for a Safer Communities Project Worker to join our Community Wellbeing team in Witney. This exciting new role is all about supporting people to feel safe, stay connected, and live their best lives. Youll be working in a dynamic and supportive multi-disciplinary team, helping to shape and deliver community safety initiatives and strengthen partnerships with local organisations, agencies and stakeholders. Some of your responsibilities: Leading and supporting local community safety projects and initiatives across the district. Building strong relationships with partners including police, councils, voluntary groups, and residents. Supporting the delivery and monitoring of the Community Safety Partnership action plan. You will need A minimum qualification equivalent to NVQ level 3 or A level, and/or three years relevant experience in the CommunitySafety sector. GCSE Maths and English or equivalent to grade C/4 or higher. Project delivery experience. Commitment to support residents and determination to succeed. Ability to build customer relationships and work collaboratively. Knowledge and experience in assessing complex situations and negotiating respectful relationships. Ability to remain calm and confident when dealing with challenging situations.
