We are looking for a NPD Process and Trials Coordinator to join our team in Wisbech, PE13 2RN.

Responsibilities:
Working in a close team, in a lively, fun environment, you will be responsible for the following:
* Ensuring that NPD trials for new products are clearly recorded and any issues or observations are reported and actions follows up.
* Ensuring that all trials are accurately documented and in-line with the NPD process to ensure BRC compliance.
* Identify way of improving factory production efficiencies for existing products ensuring existing throughputs are accurate inline with costings.
* Generate all relevant paperwork for upcoming factory trials and distribute out to key stakeholders.
* Attend NPD trials in the factory to observe, record data, throughput information and photographic evidence.
* Complete relevant post-trial paperwork and generate reports, with observations, issues, and recommendations, communicate finding to all stakeholders and follow up on any actions arising.
* Observe and identify possible ways of improving process, quality or efficiency within the factory.
* Ensure that the costings generated for NPD products are aligned with the observations of the factory
* Work closely with the NPD and commercial team, and to link between the sales function and the factory, observing what can be done with existing systems and equipment.
* Attend NPD taste panel to assess and record factory trial products
* Ensure that the costings generated for NPD products are aligned with the observations of the factory
* You may be required to complete additional duties to meet the needs of the business.
* Undertake or be involved in ad hoc projects as and when required.
Pay rates and typical working hours:
* Shift : Monday to Friday 8 - 5pm with 1 hour's break, 40 hours per week.
* Payrate £ £14.40 p/h
Skills / Experience & Qualifications:
* Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Methodical and organised
* Inquisitive with the confidence to ask many questions.
* Motivated to work unsupervised
* A keen interest in food trends and food development
* Good attention to detail
* Commercial awareness.
* Have a can do hands on attitude and approach to work.
Preferred, but not essential:
* Food based degree
* Food hygiene certificate
* Experience within a short life production environment
