What you’ll deliver in your first 30 days
* HR foundations: contracts, onboarding/offboarding, probation, holiday & absence, basic policies (conduct, data, confidentiality).
* Right-to-Work process: clear checks (incl. share codes/ID), evidence log, renewal/expiry tracker.
* Records & retention: secure folder structure, access controls, retention schedule, complete personnel files.
* Recruitment trail: templates for adverts, screening notes, interview notes, decision records.
* Change-reporting workflow: lightweight process to record and submit company/worker changes via the relevant official online portals within statutory timeframes.
* Compliance calendar: monthly checklist for RTW renewals, payroll/address changes, absences, and any reportable changes.
* Audit pack: one tidy place with checklists, logs and sample reports so we’re inspection-ready at short notice.
* Team training: short SOPs (RTW, starters/leavers, absences, updating details).

Keep records accurate, run RTW checks for every starter, maintain SOPs, produce a monthly people-ops/compliance snapshot, support basic ER/leave queries, and protect data privacy (GDPR basics).
