As a Production Operative, you will be an integral part of our lens manufacturing process. Your primary focus will be to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our production lines, maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. You will work closely with a dedicated team, following strict protocols and procedures to meet our client's expectations. Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor lens manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and identifying any issues.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain a consistent workflow.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to report any production delays or quality concerns.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and wear the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Keep accurate records of production data and report any deviations or anomalies.
* Participate in training programs to enhance your skills and stay updated with industry best practices.
* Contribute to a positive and safe work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
* Basic understanding of lens manufacturing processes and quality control methods.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production demands.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with the team.
* Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
* Willingness to work in a rotating shift pattern, including weekends and holidays as required.
* Basic computer literacy for data entry and record-keeping purposes.
* A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules and priorities as needed.
We are looking to cover the hours of 5.30pm-8.30pm Monday- Friday, total of 15 hours per week.
