The Salesforce Solutions Architect is a technical leadership role that combines solution design, platform governance, and team mentorship within the Salesforce ecosystem. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with teams across Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Technology to align technical solutions with business objectives. They will also collaborate with external vendors and play a key role in mentoring and developing junior Salesforce professionals within the organisation.
Our client’s Salesforce environment is evolving, built on mature foundations but undergoing continuous enhancement. The current focus is on reducing technical debt, improving scalability, and adopting the latest Salesforce innovations to support long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, and Field Service Clouds.
* Translate complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
* Collaborate with Product Owners and technical teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery.
* Conduct architectural reviews to ensure integrity, performance, and security.
* Define and maintain architectural documentation, integration patterns, and data flows.
* Ensure compliance with change control and release management processes.
* Troubleshoot complex platform issues and support platform health initiatives.
* Mentor junior Salesforce professionals and promote best practices.
* Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and assess impacts to the current architecture.
* Engage with third-party vendors to align delivery with business goals and standards.
Requirements:
* Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect (or progressing towards certification).
* Minimum of 3 years in Salesforce architecture or senior solution design roles.
* Strong understanding of Flow Builder, Apex, and Lightning Components.
* Experience with integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs).
* Familiarity with deployment tools such as Copado or Gearset.
* Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience with Salesforce managed packages.
* Ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
Salesforce products used:
* Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Field Service.
Other tools and technologies:
* Integration: MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs
