Location: Banbury
As the IT Support Manager your responsibilities will include but not limited to;
1. Lead and manage the IT support team, providing guidance, mentorship, and escalation support.
2. Oversee day-to-day IT operations and ensure efficient resolution of technical issues.
3. Drive high-quality, user-centric customer service, ensuring the IT function meets service level expectations.
4. Maintain and develop internal IT procedures, policies, and technical standards.
5. Support the deployment and maintenance of new IT systems, software, and services.
6. Contribute to IT strategy and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
7. Oversee Maintenance of IT infrastructure – Server Networks, Cloud platforms and data storage
8. Manage Day to day running of the IT service desk – ensuring prompt resolution and high level of customer satisfaction.
9. Monitor and address potential vulnerabilities working closely with external partners as needed.
10. Work with IT leadership to help shape the companies technology strategy
What we are looking for in our IT Support manager;
We’re seeking a proactive IT Support Manager who thrives on learning and adapting in a fast-changing tech environment, with a focus on leading and developing a strong team. You will have had experience in the following areas;
11. Proven experience managing and leading an IT support team - management experience is essential.
12. Proven experience in an IT service desk or support role
13. Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure
14. Good Windows & Linux environments understanding – VM Ware, SQL, Networking
15. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Windows desktop support, and network administration.
16. Understanding of cyber security standards and frameworks Cyber Essentials, ISO27001).
17. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
18. Strong understanding of IT governance, risk, and controls.
19. Experience managing IT security and continuity processes.
20. Ability to balance hands-on technical support with leadership responsibilities.
21. A proactive, engaging, and positive approach with a genuine enthusiasm for technology and team development.
