CMA Recruitment Group is currently looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on behalf of a well-established business based in Fareham, Hampshire, on a temporary basis. This assignment will last c6-9 weeks while they recruit on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and ambitious individual that will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in a thriving commercial environment.
What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?
* Undertaking the accounts payable function – i.e. paying supplier invoices.
* Issuing monthly and ad-hoc recharge invoices to the business.
* Bookkeeping and reconciliation of all bank accounts.
* Assistance with monthly intercompany confirmations and loan revaluations.
* Assistance with the month end reporting process.
* Assistance with balance sheet reconciliations.
* Assistance with preparation of the annual financial statements.
Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:
* Part qualified or qualified is preferred but not essential (i.e. AAT).
* A solid background in finance with experience of running the accounts to trial balance stage.
* Working knowledge of debits and credits.
* Available to work in a small finance team and occasionally in a standalone capacity.
* Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
