We are working with one of the UKs most prestigious environmental contractors, who are entering their busiest period of the year and seeking dedicated drivers to join their Southampton team.
The Role:
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be embedded into a hardworking crew of environmental labourers and grounds specialists. This is not waste work instead, youll be supporting tanker operations focused on removing spillages and contaminated water from sites across the region.
Key responsibilities include:
* Driving and operating JetVac tankers (full training provided).
* Assisting the crew with all aspects of the job this is very much a muck in role.
* Working on environmental clean-up and remediation projects.
* Some long-distance overnight work (hotel accommodation provided) optional.
* Occasional use of a company van.
What Were Looking For:
* HGV Class 2 licence (essential).
* ADR licence (desirable but not essential).
* Previous tanker or JetVac experience helpful (training provided if not).
* A positive, hands-on attitude willing to work as part of a tight-knit crew.
* Reliability and flexibility with early starts (typically 6am).
