Job Title: Research Scientist
We are seeking a Research Scientist to perform a broad range of laboratory-based tasks on in vivo metabolism studies for new product development, following global regulatory requirements. This role involves executing analytical procedures, supporting study supervisors, preparing samples for analysis, and assisting in the development of new analytical procedures and study types.

Requirements:
* BSc (Hons) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or a related subject
* Previous laboratory experience in analytical, biochemistry, or similar fields (desirable)
* Experience working to GLP standards (desirable)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
* Accountability, dedication, and a team-oriented mindset
* Meticulous in laboratory and documentation work
* Good time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
* Prioritisation and scheduling skills
* Willingness to engage with new ideas and initiatives
* Flexibility to adapt working patterns, including early starts, long days, or weekend work

Key roles and responsibilities:
* Perform established analytical procedures
* Conduct general laboratory tasks
* Support team members and follow management directives
* Prepare samples for analysis such as chromatography and quantification
* Assist in developing new analytical procedures and study types
* Perform complex experimental techniques, including dose preparation, administration, and HPLC analysis
* Act as a Study Supervisor on assigned studies, ensuring high standards in tasks such as:
o Preparing dose calculations and supervising laboratory technicians
o Data calculation, QC, and review
o Preparing experimental worksheets and study updates
o Communicating data to clients and preparing reports
