An enthusiastic Drama Teacher is required to join an Outstanding girls school in Barnet for a permanent position commencing in September. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 1116) fostering their creativity confidence and communication skills through the medium of drama.
Responsibilities
* Plan prepare and deliver engaging Drama Teacher lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Develop students performance skills understanding of dramatic techniques and appreciation of theatre.
* Foster a supportive and creative learning environment that encourages experimentation and collaboration.
* Assess and monitor student progress in Drama providing constructive feedback to support their development as performers and learners.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Drama or a closely related subject.
* Demonstrated experience teaching Drama Teacher lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4.
* A strong understanding of dramatic theory and practice with the ability to inspire students.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of building positive relationships with students and colleagues.
