We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Marketing Specialist to drive and execute the marketing strategy for our digital energy solutions and associated consultancy services. As the sole marketing professional in the business, you will play a pivotal role in shaping brand presence, generating demand, and supporting sales enablement across the UK and European markets.

Role Description The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for owning and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with business goals, supports sales growth, and enhances brand visibility.
The Marketing Specialist will develop this strategy with support from other senior staff in the Sales and Product teams.
The role requires a blend of strategic thinking and tactical execution, with a strong emphasis on content creation, campaign management, event/exhibition delivery and stakeholder collaboration.
The Marketing Specialist owns the delivery of the SGS Marketing program.
This position has wide-ranging responsibilities defining SGS market engagement tactics and leading marketing activities from strategy to execution.
The Marketing Specialist will collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive brand awareness and engagement.
The Marketing Specialist will value Personal Development including marketing professional competences, developing digital tools skills, growing SGS domain knowledge and continuous improvement of general business acumen.
The Marketing Specialist reports to the EVP of Consultancy and UK Sales and collaborates with the marketing team at our parent company, Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc.
Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning • Own and execute the marketing strategy, defined in the SGS Divisional Plan, and aligned with commercial objectives defined in the plan.
1. • Collaborate with senior staff in the Product and Sales teams to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the SGS business plan.
2. • Work with commercial team to set and track marketing budget and spend against budget through the year.
3. • Define and track KPIs to measure marketing effectiveness, outputs, and ROI.
4. • Improving Marketing Processes: ongoing research and recommendation for tools/platforms and marketing processes that can improve marketing reach and effectiveness.
5. • Supporting internal communications and ad hoc marketing requests from other (non-Sales) teams within SGS.
Content & Campaigns • Create compelling content (blogs, whitepapers, case studies, presentations), with input and support from SGS Subject Matter Experts, that promotes SGS products and services, tailored to Grid/Networks Utilities and DER Developers.
6. • Work with the Product Management team to plan and execute product launches.
7. • Develop ideas, scope options, plan and execute multi-channel campaigns (email, social, digital, events) to drive thought leadership, generate leads and nurture prospects.
8. • Manage and grow social media presence.
9. • Administration and Management of collateral and digital resources, files, passwords etc.
10. • Multimedia Design and Creation: - Logos, Social Posts, Short-form video, Graphics, Demos, Slideware - Selection of external providers and sources of multi-media content.
Sales Enablement and Product Messaging • Collaborate with the Product and Sales teams to produce collateral, pitch decks, and tools that support the sales cycle and ensure clear and consistent product messaging.
11. • Maintain and evolve the CRM to support lead generation and tracking.
Brand & Communications • Manage brand consistency across all touchpoints.
12. • Coordinate with stakeholders at other Mitsubishi Electric businesses to ensure brand compliance and alignment with parent company standards • Oversee website content and maintenance, SEO tracking, and digital presence.
13. • Coordinate PR and thought leadership initiatives.
Events & Partnerships • Plan and execute industry events, webinars, and trade shows.
14. • Build relationships with industry bodies and partners to amplify reach.
