Field Team Leader (Domiciliary Care) – Driver Essential Right At Home Solent & Southampton is looking for a Field Team Leader to support quality, consistency and great outcomes for our clients in their own homes. This is a developing role with real scope to shape how we work in the field, support our care team, and progress into future Care Management opportunities. Location Fareham - Gosport - Southampton Driving is essential – you’ll need a full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle. The role As a Field Team Leader, you will combine quality monitoring with frontline care delivery and out-of-hours support. Key responsibilities Complete spot checks / quality visits in the community and write up clear, accurate reports using observations and AI-supported tools (in line with company guidance and confidentiality requirements). Identify risks and concerns early, escalate appropriately, and work with the wider team to help resolve issues (e.g., care plan updates, training needs, practice improvements). Act as an ambassador for Right At Home, promoting professional standards and excellent customer service. Deliver care calls during the remainder of your availability, providing safe, person-centred care. Participate in the on-call rota, supporting carers out of hours (additional payment applies). Maintain accurate records in line with CQC expectations, company policy and UK GDPR (data protection). Hours and pay Guaranteed hours: we will guarantee hours based on the maximum availability you can offer (agreed with you in advance). Enhanced hourly rate: you will be paid a higher hourly rate across all visits and working time. On-call payments: paid in addition when you are on call. Salary: £14.80 during the week, £15.30 at weekend. What we’re looking for Essential A strong commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle. Confidence using technology (mobile apps, digital care records) and willingness to embrace AI-supported tools as part of reporting and quality monitoring. A professional approach : reliable, respectful, clear communicator, and able to maintain confidentiality. Flexibility with working hours (we will aim to work within your agreed availability). Desirable (but not essential) Experience as a Carer, or previous care experience. Experience completing spot checks, mentoring, coaching or supporting other carers. Understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards, safeguarding, and good record-keeping.
