Tradewind Recruitment is looking for enthusiastic Psychology Graduates to work as Teaching Assistants in welcoming Primary schools in North Liverpool\n\nThese roles will involve supporting children in a one-to-one capacity, helping to create a positive learning environment and providing valuable academic and emotional support.\n\nThese positions start in September 2025 and have the potential to run for the full academic year - ideal for graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in education, particularly those considering careers in teaching, educational psychology, or child development.\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nSupport for pupils either individually or in groups\n\nSupport the activities of individuals or groups of children Participate in the education of children, including contributing to their health and well-being\nSupport children with special needs (if appropriate to the focus of the role)Support to the teacher(s)\n\nProvide support for learning activities by- supporting the teacher in the planning and evaluation of learning activities\n\n- supporting the delivery of learning activities\n\nSupport in organising effective learning environments and maintaining appropriate records\nSupport literacy and numeracy activities in the classroom\nSupport the maintenance of pupil safety and security\nContribute to the management of pupil behaviour by- promoting school policies with regards to pupil behaviour\n\n- supporting the implementation of strategies to manage pupil behaviour\n\nUndertake routine marking in line with school policy\nProvide clerical/admin. support, e.g. photocopying, collecting money, administer coursework.Support for the school\n\nProvide support to colleagues\nDevelop own effectiveness in a support roleSupport for the curriculum\n\nSupport the use of information and communication technology in the classroomInterested?
