At Northcroft school we pride ourselves on offering a unique learning environment that feels both personal and nurturing. Our school combines the friendly atmosphere of a small village school with the supportive qualities of a home while providing specialist professional care.
We welcome students from Year 7 to 11 and place children at the heart of everything that we do. With a child centred approach and a commitment to trauma-informed practice, we create opportunities for pupils to rediscover their love for learning. Our broad and enriching curriculum is designed to build confidence, inspire curiosity and help every child achieve their potential. At Northcroft education goes beyond the classroom. We know our students well and foster strong trusting relationships that ensure they feel safe, valued and supported. Our pupils are encouraged to make informed choices, guided by positive role models and to develop into independent resilient young people who are ready for the next stage of their journey.
We are seeking to appoint a qualified, experienced and enthusiastic classroom practitioner who understands that students take individual and multiple pathways in their learning. You will be committed to doing your best by the young people that we work with. We seek teachers who can lead and adapt the curriculum to deliver a primary approach to Key Stage 3 learners, all of which is supported by a dedicated team and West Berkshire Local Authority.
Northcroft School is a specialist school for learners who have multiple needs such as social, emotional and mental health needs, past trauma, ASD and ADHD. We are proud of the high expectations and aspirations we set for every child and young person, providing an inspiring environment where everyone can learn and achieve. We provide ambitious and exciting opportunities through well-designed and individualised curriculum packages.
