We have an exciting opportunity at our prestigious independent Boarding School site near Godalming for a Front of House Supervisor to join the team at Accent Catering
The school is a thriving co-educational day and boarding preparatory school in the beautiful village of Shackleford, catering to approximately 220 pupils aged 7 to 13, along with teaching and support staff. The catering provision is extensive and varied, covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, plus match teas, and a wide range of hospitality and school events throughout the academic year.

To be successful in this role you will:
Preferably have experience of working in independent schools
Have an understanding of managing allergens
Have the ability to motivate and manage a team
Have previous experience of overseeing a catering service to ensure smooth daily operations
Have the ability to supervise teams to ensure the delivery of impeccable food and customer service
Have the ability to control and manage stock levels
Be accountable for ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal relationships, management reporting and client liaison to enable operational excellence
Be accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies and duty of care to customers and colleagues
This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.
The ideal candidate will be flexible to work evenings and weekends as required.
