Position: Animal Care Attendant
Location: Bow Chika Wow Town
Core Responsibilities
As an Animal Care Attendant, your role will be vital in ensuring the well-being of our furry guests. Your responsibilities will include:
* Embodying the Mission, Vision, and Values of Destination Pet.
* Sanitizing and disinfecting pet enclosures and boarding areas.
* Providing clean bedding and ensuring pets have fresh water at all times.
* Feeding pets the correct type and quantity of food while maintaining cleanliness in food prep areas.
* Monitoring and accurately charting each pet's consumption and elimination, reporting any concerns to management.
* Conducting visual checks on pets for safety and well-being throughout the day.
* Supervising group play for dogs and individual activities as needed.
* Assisting with bathing and grooming of canine guests.
* Cleaning up after pets and ensuring their belongings are well-maintained.
* Laundering pet bedding and towels daily.
Requirements
Expertise & Experience:
* A true pet enthusiast—pets are part of our family!
* Professional animal care or kennel experience is preferred.
* Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
* This is an entry-level role; high school students, college students, and teenagers aged 16+ are encouraged to apply.
Physical Requirements:
* Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Ability to frequently lift 40 pounds.
* Must be on your feet for the duration of your shift.
* Comfortable standing, walking, and climbing stairs regularly.
* Ability to handle dogs on leashes.
* Willingness to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectants, animal dander, and excretions.
Reporting Structure
You will report directly to the General Manager.

Compensation
Pay: $16.50/hour + tips
