We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer (with their own equipment) to support the delivery of a new mixed-use development, comprising a service station, 100-bed hotel, and landscaped outdoor seating areas. This is a fast-moving project requiring a reliable, detail-driven engineer with strong QA and reporting capability.
The Role
As Site Engineer, you will work closely with the site and project management teams to provide accurate setting-out, maintain strict quality assurance processes, and support with as-builts and material take-offs. You’ll play a key technical role throughout the construction programme.
Key Responsibilities

Setting-out for foundations, drainage, structures, hard landscaping, and external works.

Carrying out QA checks, inspections, and ensuring works meet spec and standards.
*
Producing accurate as-built drawings and maintaining quality records.
*
Completing material take-offs and supporting procurement where required.
*
Providing engineering support to site managers and subcontractors.
*
Using your own total station/engineering equipment to deliver precise measurements.
Experience Required
*
Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer on civils or mixed-use schemes.
*
Proficient in setting-out using total station/GPS equipment (must have own kit).
*
Strong QA documentation and as-built drawing experience.
*
Ability to work independently and deliver accurate results to tight timelines.
*
Good understanding of civils, groundworks and structural elements.
Contract Details

10-month contract starting January.
