Children’s support worker

Location: Rotherham & Sheffield Salary: £13.10-£13.50 per hour Hours: Part time & Full time Caremark Rotherham & Sheffield support Children & Young Adults who live within the community. We support individuals with a variety of complex needs which includes Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Clinical support needs . We are currently recruiting for Children’s Support Workers who have a UK driving licence, able to obtain business insurance have use of a vehicle for work purposes. Due to our client’s preference, we are interested in individuals who drive and own their own vehicle. Our clients enjoy accessing the community to undertake social activities to enable them to live an independent lifestyle. As a Children’s support Worker you will be supporting your own small group of clients who have a range of complex needs who live within the community of Rotherham & Sheffield. All successful applicants MUST be able to transport themselves within the areas we provide support . Experience is not required as full training and ongoing support and supervision is provided by our experienced management team. You will need to be able to COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY , be PUNCTUAL and RELIABLE to ensure our clients’ dignity and respect is upheld. As a Community Children’s Support Worker you will be providing support to ONE client at ONE time on a two to one/one to one basis. Support visits are from 4 hours up to 12 hours per day. As a Support Worker you will be an integral part of your own individual client’s person centered support on a weekly basis. You will be will be supporting a small group of regular clients following a three week rolling rota.
