We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Engineer to join a multi-billion-pound infrastructure programme that will shape the future of the UK's transport network. This flagship project encompasses large-scale heavy civil engineering works, including highways construction, major structures, drainage networks, earthworks, and associated infrastructure.This is an exceptional opportunity to work on a nationally significant project alongside industry-leading professionals, utilising the latest engineering technologies and construction methodologies.The RoleAs a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of major construction packages, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.Key responsibilities will include:- Setting out and surveying works using modern surveying equipment and GPS technology.- Managing and overseeing construction activities across highways, structures, drainage, and heavy civils packages.- Ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with design specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.- Producing and maintaining accurate site records, as-built information, and quality documentation.- Supporting subcontractors and site teams to achieve programme milestones.- Reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.- Identifying and resolving technical issues on site in collaboration with design and construction teams.- Assisting with quality assurance processes, inspections, and testing activities.- Promoting and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:- A degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.- Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on major infrastructure, highways, heavy civils, or structural projects.- Strong setting-out and surveying capabilities.- Experience working with drainage systems, reinforced concrete structures, earthworks, and highway construction.- Excellent understanding of construction methods, specifications, and engineering standards.- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.- CSCS card as a minimum requirement.- Full UK driving licence.Desirable- Experience on major projects valued at £100m+.- Temporary works awareness.- Knowledge of BIM and digital engineering tools.- Membership of a professional institution such as ICE or progress towards chartership.TPBN1_UKTJ
