Position Overview:
We are seeking a multiskilled IT Support Technician fluent in French and English to support our expanding Home Service Group business. The role involves providing high-quality support to customer service teams and distribution centers across the UK and France, both onsite and remotely.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a broad range of IT skills to provide 1st and 2nd level support, respond promptly to issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in both countries. Effective communication of technical details in both languages to all business levels is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with technical teams in the UK, US, and France.
* Collaborate and support IT teams; communicate effectively with technical and business teams.
* Own issues to resolution or escalate appropriately.
* Support and maintain IT infrastructure at all HSG sites in the UK and France.
* Assist in managing the service desk functions, providing prompt support to end users.
* Support business applications, ensuring maximum effectiveness and providing technical links to suppliers.
* Lead incident resolution efforts, liaising with suppliers and teams for quick resolution.
* Maintain effective documentation and communicate technical information clearly.
* Support technical projects, development, and testing.
* Assist with governance, quality, and control in all areas.
* Ensure security, privacy, and data protection are prioritized, supporting investigations and recommendations.
* Proactively update personal skills and knowledge.
Skills & Experience:
* Minimum 3 years of IT support experience in large office or warehouse environments.
* Strong technical and IT experience, including network, infrastructure, server management, and security.
Qualifications/Education:
* Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written.
* Degree or equivalent in ICT or related field.
* Knowledge of ITIL, Change Management, and Service Delivery best practices.
* Experience with Windows devices, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
* Ability to support warehouse/distribution systems and contact centers (desirable).
